I just got followed by @seeSweden on Twitter. When I took a look to see who it was I discovered that they’re trying to get advertising.
Hmm. I’m not surprised. Companies are going to look to explore how Twitter can generate income but this is the first time I’ve see a direct “Buy advertising space here” approach.
I’m not sure @SeeSweden will get any takers just yet. Not until they have more than 17 followers at least.
Still, the idea is interesting.
I expect to see a lot more of this.
But what do you think? Is this kind of approach going to ruin Twitter ? Or is it just another arena for web-savvy copywriters and advertisers to crash?
