Joshua Porter‘s slides on Designing for Social Traction are a must read if you’re in the business of getting people to sign up for your website or online service.
From the perspective of a copywriter I couldn’t help be fascinated by Joshua’s comments on how copywriting is the “easiest, fastest way to improve your sign-up process” and the examples he cites in support of this.
I know it’s a commitment to wade through 120 slides, but believe me, if you’re committed to learning more about getting visitors to sign-up to your web service, it’s time well spent.
