The online marcom space is a really exciting place to be engaging right now as social media opens things up and I really enjoy connecting with new and vibrant people.
Based in Stockholm, but blogging in English, I tend to make international connections so I’d like to share some “foreigners” with my fellow Nordic readers, and also a couple of locals for my international audience.
If you’d like to recommend someone else working in the marcom, PR, social media space, please do so in the comments!
Please, do check out…
Freelance Rant – Johnny Spence is great guy who, as well as a friendly quip here and there, writes some kick-ass WordPress posts. I’m telling my friends he’s a programmer to watch! Check out his site and make sure you follow him on Twitter.
Sharon Cain runs Quest PR and is an ex-journo, based in the UK and is great to follow on Twitter. She provides a lot of good links to what’s happening in the UK and, if you’re working within PR or marcom, she’s definitely worth connecting with.
If you want to get a different flavour of the Swedish social media scene, keep your eyes on Anders Sporring. He’s a keen blogger and is often at industry events and tweets in English. He’s also connected to just about everyone who is anyone in Stockholm, from what I can see. Anders is also a really sweet guy.
Finally, I’d also like to recommend Johan Ronnestam, whose blog (in English) on Innovative Communication is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for another Swedish insight into digital communications.
